How are Feminine Sanitary Napkins Produced?

If you want to start producing feminine sanitary napkins, there is the following sanitary napkin production process.

Raw material preparation. The main raw materials for sanitary napkins are nonwoven fabrics, fluff pulp, highly absorbent polymers, polyethylene film and thermo adhesive.

Pulping. The pulp is mechanically processed to obtain the desired fiber properties. It will change the length, shape and absorbent properties of the fibers, resulting in better absorbency and comfort of the sanitary napkin.

Making prototype sanitary napkins. The processed pulp is laminated with a highly absorbent polymer and a backing material, PE film, to create a prototype of a sanitary napkin.

Processing of tissue prototypes. Processing the shape of the sanitary napkin, including the production of the outer top sheet, which is usually made of non-woven fabric or PE perforated film, and the leakage barrier, which is made of PE leakage barrier film to prevent liquid leakage.

Packaging of sanitary napkins, the outer packaging of single-sheet sanitary napkins is usually made of cast film or non-woven fabric with easy-stick tape to help open the sanitary napkin. After that, these single sanitary napkins will be packaged into bags, which are aluminum foil bags or PE plastic bags, usually 8 pieces in a bag or 10 pieces in a bag.

The above steps can be realized and completed on our sanitary napkin machine, running at a speed of 800-900 pieces per minute.
