  4. Compression Stroke:
    • The piston then moves back toward the center of the cylinder, compressing the fluid in the cylinder.
    • The compressed fluid is forced out of the pump through the outlet port.
  5. Reversal of Stroke:
    • The direction of the stroke is then reversed.
    • The opposite piston moves outward during the next suction stroke, drawing in fluid through the inlet port.
